The moonshot
The grid is facing more extreme weather, more often, against aging infrastructure. Our long-term aim is a grid that can anticipate, withstand, and recover — increasingly on its own. We get there by making the future of the grid visible, testable, and provable, long before the lights go out.
What we do
One forecasting engine — physics-based models meeting real historical events — pointed at the threats the grid faces, one hazard at a time. For each, we forecast the event, its impact across the network, the best response, and the proof behind it. Our first product, ForeProof STORM, brings this to storm damage across the US electric grid; wildfire, flood, heat, and autonomous response are on the roadmap.
How we build — responsibly
- Grounded in real data. Public, cited sources — EIA, HIFLD, NOAA, USGS — with every value labeled real, estimated, or modeled. Estimates are calibrated against disclosed facts, never invented.
- Simulation by design. ForeProof is a decision-research platform that runs entirely in simulation. It is not live SCADA and not an operational forecast — that boundary is a deliberate commitment, never a basis for real-time operational or life-safety decisions.
- Your data stays yours. Our proprietary models run server-side and never leave our infrastructure. In a pilot, a partner's network data lights up the digital twin — and stays with the partner.
